In an effort to help
COVID patients who are home-isolated and need help to purchase medicines or essential items, the Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate plans to start division-wise dedicated helplines, under the umbrella of ‘Police Samaritan’. Further, cops have said the public can also call in on these numbers to give the police information about people roaming around outside without any reason, and also approach with numerous other pandemic-related hassles.
