Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc. has voluntarily recalled bagged garden salad products sold in 10 states, including Pennsylvania. The products are being pulled due to a possible listeria contamination. The foodborne bacteria can cause severe illnesses among pregnant women, young children, seniors and people with weakened immune systems.
Officials say the recall was prompted after a random sample tested positive for the organism listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been reported, the FDA says.
