DENGKIL (Bernama): Ahmad Irham Mohd Noor was a photographer for a popular daily, but he suddenly found himself without a job after the media organisation he worked for downsized its workforce in March this year.
Instead of wallowing in self-pity, the 39-year-old father of two did not waste any time and found a new career as an agropreneur.
Starting with 2,000 polybags of red chilli seedlings and a 0.4ha plot here which he leased for five years, he started cultivating his crop using the fertigation system, a technique where dissolved fertiliser is supplied to crops through an irrigation system.
