Sabah’s cases dipped marginally to 402 on Tuesday from 416 the day earlier, while three deaths were recorded, with one each in Beaufort, Ranau and Tuaran.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said districts that usually influence the rise and fall of the caseload, namely Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Papar and Tuaran, recorded relatively lower figures.
“Kota Kinabalu recorded 119 cases, Penampang 34, Papar 31 and Tuaran 17,” he said in a statement, Tuesday.
He said 13 districts recorded double-digit cases, while 11 districts recorded single-digit cases. Semporna and Tongod did not record any new cases.
He added that 57.21 per cent of cases were sporadic infections, while 27.61 per cent were close contacts
