The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State and district leadership has come under severe criticism for the shoddy performance of the party in Kozhikode in the Assembly polls.
An online meeting attended by State president K. Surendran, former president Kummanam Rajashekaran, State organising secretary M. Ganesh and district president V.K. Sajeevan to review the performance of the party saw participants putting the blame squarely on the leadership for the lack of coordination and ineffectiveness in the elections.

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], March 17 (ANI): If Nemom, a high-profile constituency, the lone sitting seat of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala, became a suspense thriller regarding candidates announcement by Congress, next in line is Dharmadam - a bastion of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
On Tuesday, Congress announced the name of contestants in six more constituencies for Assembly election keeping Dharmadam vacant on a day when the mother of two minor girls, who were allegedly raped and murdered at Walayar, announced that she will contest against Vijayan from Dharmadam.

Thiruvananthapuram: Nemom, a suburb in Kerala s capital Thiruvananthapuram is becoming a focal point of the state assembly polls, with all three fronts betting huge for a victory on the lone seat that BJP managed to win in 2016 assembly polls.
The BJP leaders had referred Nemom as the Gujarat of Kerala and to upset the apple cart of BJP, Congress is playing its cards close to the chest. For Nemom constituency we will be fielding a strong contender, who will have people s acceptance, said Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President ( KPCC) president Mullappally Ramachandran.
