Myanmars military has reached a cease-fire agreement with an alliance of ethnic minority guerrilla groups it has been battling in the countrys northeast, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Friday. Myanmars military government confirmed the development, as did the ethnic alliance.

The Military Council and the Three Brotherhood Alliance have agreed to a temporary ceasefire; however air-strikes and fighting persists in many areas. According to an attendee cited by VoA, a ceasefire agreement was achieved between the Military Council and the Three Brotherhood Alliance during a meeting in Kunming on January 10th and 11th, facilitated by China's intervention.

Compared to routine care, TCMD could better reduce the incidence of adverse events and the level of laboratory indicators.

The new agreement was brokered at talks mediated by China, though a previously ceasefire pact was not honored by either side.
