Hyderabad: Amid the hesitancy to take COVID-19 vaccine, a healthcare worker in the state of Telangana has died after receiving the shot. Officials said the healthcare worker died on Wednesday after complaining of chest pain.
A preliminary investigation into the cause of the death has ruled out any link to COVID-19 vaccination.
According to the director of Public Health and Family Welfare, Dr G Srinivas Rao, the healthcare worker had received the jab on Tuesday at around 11.30 am at Kuntala Primary Health Centre.
