NATO allies will ramp up aid for Ukraine as Russian President Vladimir Putin is using winter as a weapon of war because his forces are failing on the battlefield, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday.
According to Ukraine’s emergency service, a fire broke out in a residential neighborhood in Kyiv's Podil district on March 18 after it was hit by fragments of a Russian missile shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. At least one person was killed. Residents gathered outside as emergency-response brigades worked to put out multiple fires on the ground and in apartment blocks.
