The tumultuous week has left us to question why was a board was unable to effectively oust an executive given their legitimate safety concerns? And, why was a structure that was put in place to mitigate the risk of unilateral control over Artificial General Intelligence, usurped by Microsoft – the very entity the structure was designed to guard against?
