To order the extravagant cup of coffee from The Brew Lab Cafe in Penrith, in Western Sydney, a customer would have to wait for two weeks for the beans to be flown to Australia from Panama.

Brothers Kristoffer and Nikolas Powers started a natural dog food business in 2020, and in April 2022 opened Black Lab Cafe to serve their favorite clients. 

Black Lab Cafe caters to both humans and their four-legged friends. The coffee shop is owned by Lise Evans and her two sons, Nik and Kris Powers. They wanted to create a community space for dog lovers with the family's two black labs, Daisy and Lola, serving as the mascots.
