But over the course of the next six years, we would grow into wherejority to the point the majority of the American People became opposed to the United States being involved in the war in vietnam. We are on the steps of the state capital of wisconsin in madison. This location was significant for two reasons, i think. In the first instant, it is where the first demonstration against the war in vietnam was held in february of 1965. Four years later in 1969 and of0, this was the location the massive antiwar demonstrations against the war in vietnam with tens of thousands of people, so that is why this is significant. Targeted 50 people here in the bay area. It led to the arrest of people tied to four street gangs. They raided homes over the past mornt. All 50 people are being prosecuted on state charges. In all the Homeland Security officials charged 913 suspected gang members. A boston jury convicted surviving boston n marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev of carrying out that deadly attack. He was found guilty on all 30 counts and now faces the possibility of the death penalty. Prosecutors argued the 21yearold self radicalized muslim was intent on committing miss murder. Were all going to move upon with our lives. Were all going to get back to some sense of normalcy. Hopefully when this is all done. So closure, i dont think so. A jury will decide whether to sentence tsarnaev to death or life in prison. His brother died in a shootout with police days after the bombing.
