NEW DELHI: In November 2020, New Zealand MP from Maungakiekie, Auckland, Priyanca Radhakrishnan created history to become the first Indian-Kiwi woman minister in New Zealand.
She was inducted into Labour Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s new Cabinet and was a face of the incredible diversity’ in the Kiwi government.
The Chennai-born Radhakrishnan migrated to New Zealand as an international student and though she faced the challenges of a young immigrant in a new country, she thanks her parents for being supportive.
