PEARCY, Ark. -- Arkansas High knocked off third-place Lake Hamilton, 46-35, in a Conference 5A-South girls basketball action Friday on the Wolves home court.

The Arkansas High Lady Backs (5-13, 2-7) raced out to a quick 8-0 lead to open their conference matchup Tuesday night against Hot Springs Lakeside (10-7, 6-3), only to see their cushion disappear immediately as the Lady Rams tied the game at 10-10 by the end of the first quarter and pulled away for good before the end of the half.
