Thomas Schreiber, who is on trial for the murder of Sir Richard Sutton and attempted murder of his mother, told a psychiatrist he was 150% certain it would not have happened without lockdown

Thomas Schreiber, 35, of Gillingham, Dorset, is accused at Winchester Crown Court of the murder of Sir Richard Sutton, 83, and attempted murder of his mother, Anne Schreiber, 66, on April 7.

Murder suspect Thomas Schreiber, 35, sent a voice note to a friend saying his mothers partner had never had to work a day in his life because of his inherited wealth, a court heard today.

Anne Schreiber, 66, was left with the devastating injuries following the stabbing, in April, which left Sir Richards £2m country mansion near Gillingham, Dorset, looking like a warzone.

Thomas Schreiber, pictured, drove across the country at speeds of up to 135mph until he was stopped by police in Chiswick, west London who later tasered him.
