Last fallâs Unity Summit themed âWhere Do We Go from Here?â has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 31, in the cafeteria of Christian County Middle School at 215 Glass Avenue and will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The goal of the summit, Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch said, is to create open discussions on systemic racism including the local police departments and community relations throughout Christian County.
Event organizers are looking forward to positive, productive dialogue at the summit.
The event was to originally take place last year but the eventâs organizers decided to reschedule due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time.
