The 2023 International Woolmark Prize winners have been announced in Paris.

The crowd hurrahed as Lagos Space Programme ​​– founded in 2018 by Nigerian designer Adeju Thompson – took home this year’s International Woolmark Prize. After being selected as one of eight finalists for the 2023 International Woolmark Prize, Lagos Space Programme has taken the winning prize home.

Adeju Thompson, the 31-year-old Nigerian designer behind the brand, impressed the jury with his modern use of craftsmanship, while A Roege Hove won the Karl Lagerfeld Award for Innovation.
