Covid cases are continuing to rise across the Basildon borough - just as we approach the relaxtion of rules over Christmas. The borough is flip-flopping between the second and third worst-hit spots and council bosses are now predicting a rise to “top” spot, potentially before the end of the week. In Basildon Central and Pipps Hill the total number of cases is 93 and thats up from 42 and a 82.4% increase. Vange and Pitsea saw a rise to 45 case and this jumped up from 15 and 50.0%. ...
