One person dead, one person in custody after shooting at Leadville apartment

LEADVILLE, Colo. â One person is dead after a shooting at an apartment in Lake County.
The Leadville Police Department said a call came in around 1:20 p.m. about a shooting at the Mt. Massive Townhomes at Mt. Massive Drive and 10th Street Extension in Leadville.
First responders extensively searched the units and located a victim. The victim was taken to St. Vincent Hospital and later died.
The suspected shooter surrendered and police took the person into custody.
Police have not released information on the victim or the suspected shooter.
