The Poison Control director in Jacksonville says she's mostly concerned about young children ingesting edibles because she says toddlers here have had seizures.
The Florida Poison Information Center (FPIC) said marijuana-based gummies pose a health risk for kids, a day parents were stunned after six students at Twin Lakes Academy Middle School became sick after eating a gummy substance.
According to school officials, a student brought the gummy substance to school and shared it with classmates during class time. Reports indicate that at least six students consumed the gummies, prompting concerns about the nature of the substance.
