Lalit Mohan Jha, who had been on run since Dec 13 when four people breached security protocol inside and outside Parliament, walked inside a police station in the New Delhi district Dec 14 and is now being interrogated by a counter intelligence team
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) accused the BJP of using diversionary tactics to deflect attention from the alleged security breach in Parliament and criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah for not taking responsibility. The TMC questioned why only 176 security personnel were present instead of the usual 300 on the day of the breach. The TMC argued that the BJP was focusing on the arrested individuals, their home states, and alleged contacts instead of addressing the security lapse.
Nishikant Dubey said when similar breaches happened in Parliament in 1974 and 1994, the PM or the home minister was not questioned. | Latest News India
