A number of actors were left out and some not given a spotlight as part of the In Memoriam segment at the 2024 Academy Awards.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences remembered those who have passed away with the annual In Memoriam segment at Oscars 2024, though some were not included.

During Sunday's Oscars ceremony, Lance Reddick, Treat Williams, Norman Lear, Ron Cephas Jones, Suzanne Somers, Terence Davies and Burt Young were among the stars who were omitted from the main In Memoriam segment, though their names appeared on a slide at the end.

Burt Young, Ray Stevenson, Sinead O'Connor and others were shoved into a list of names at the end that hardly anyone could read.

The ABC broadcast, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, made it challenging to see the names and faces of deceased stars druing the emotional In Memoriam segment, put dancers in front of the screen and frequently showed singers Andrea Boccelli and his son Matteo instead of the portraits of the fallen.

This year's Oscars In Memoriam failed to include "Euphoria" star Angus Cloud, "John Wick" actor Lance Reddick, and "Dragon Ball Z" creator Akira Toriyama.
