With Easter coming up on Sunday, the Lansing area has some exciting holiday-themed events to get you in the spirit. If you don’t celebrate, don’t fret there are plenty of other activities to enjoy, including a film festival, art exhibits and even a board game café pop-up.
Kayakers and canoers of all abilities should have an easier time getting into the water at the Lansing River Trail. The city of Lansing recently upgraded the Kruger’s Landing launch site with an ADA-compliant "EZ Launch."
Through Labor Day, you’ll see public art installations along the Lansing River Trail. The pieces are a part of the 5th annual ArtPath exhibition from the Lansing Art Gallery and Education Center. Participating artist William Charland got the idea to create his series of sculptures titled Red Outlines when he was working on a mural for ArtPath in 2020 under the I-496 bridge.
