New Mosque Opens In Fishers

A new mosque and community center opened its doors Thursday in central Indiana. It serves the Muslim congregation in Fishers and neighboring cities.
Imam Nasser Karimian said Al Huda Foundation s mosque will have a community-driven mindset and will offer programs to serve the larger community, including other faith groups. The facility is located on Lantern Drive in Fishers.
“We want to make sure that churches, synagogue and other groups, we want to make sure we host them, that we feed them, that we, you know, have dialogues with them and engage in interesting conversations that will help grow the community,” Karimian said.
