A few months back, the updates slowed and eventually estimated timelines disappeared completely. That is why I was fascinated to read a new article from The Real Deal, a real estate publication out of New York.

According to FOX 61, a nursing home called Newtown Rehab and Health Care has been found in violation of health and safety standards. Newtown First Selectman Dan Rosenthal joined us on the I-95 Morning Show Tuesday (1/24/23) and we asked him about the issue. We read Rosenthal a quote from the FOX 61 article, asked him what role, if any, his office plays in the issue and what his opinion is? This was the First Selectman's response:

I took the opportunity to ask the First Selectman about ghost hunters trespassing at some of the buildings on campus. I wondered aloud if the town would ever embrace the paranormal community and offer tours of the vacant psychiatric facility buildings? This is what Rosenthal had to say:

Normally, I'd go with the Captain Obvious take and say things like, oh and Hitler is bad too! Or, isn't ice cream the best? But that is not fair because this short message lifted me up, it lifted us all up. Every one of us is better for having seen the words F--- Putin roll through our wonderful city.

Every time you turn your head, it appears there is a new development breaking ground in Brookfield and while growth is key, what about our open spaces? Recently, we learned that Brookfield First Selectman Tara Carr is actively putting measures into place to ensure the town's future is not all concrete and metal.

Dean Esposito made a guest appearance on the I-95 Morning Show on Thursday (1/19/23), we asked him if he'd heard the comments, and what he thought? This is what the Mayor had to say:

This is the second time the Danbury Democrat has run for Mayor, losing to Dean Esposito in 2021. That victory for Esposito came by one of the slimmest margins in Danbury history. Alves, a former City Councilman made the announcement in a Tuesday (1/17/23) press release that read:

Now that I know Cohen lives in the Greater-Danbury area, I can begin my hunt for him. I don't mean like a cammo jacket, deer-urine hunt, I need to track him down and convince him to do a weekly segment on my show during baseball season. I think he'd make a great addition to the Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Show for weekly updates on the Mets.

I was a huge fanboy this morning when we got to speak with Emily Riedel from the Discovery Channel's Bering Sea Gold.

Recently, I was speaking with my colleague Large Dave about an absurd but real life scenario. Dave informed me that this time, last year he and his family were attacked by an owl.
