area. the first one caught on surveillance video and this incident happened about 4 in the morning. a black honda crv smashing into that gun shop. that suv is registered in oakland. five men climbing over that security gate and into a shop. one man is wearing a sweatshirt reading oakland usa. similar smash and grab happened 45 minutes ago where about 15 handguns were stolen. these two stores about 20 minutes apart. hours later, officers did spot the same suv used in the lock land incident near the corner of 68th avenue and and the oakland police swoop inside and detained several suspects. an atf detained this man at the scene. oakland police scoured that suv for evidence. think they can take it. it really, really bothers me because i worked hard my whole life. this investigation is continuing. any of the suspects in custody today could be linked to other smash and grabs. we don t know if that suv or the people taken in custody are in connection with that second case.
