The Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has commenced development trials of the light tank Zorawar and aims to hand it over to the Indian Army for further testing by April this year. Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has secured a large order to construct the greenfield Bhogapuram International Airport project in Andhra Pradesh. The project will initially be developed to handle 6 MPA (million passengers per annum) capacity to be further enhanced to the capacity of 12 MPA, L&T said in a statement.

L&T has approved an investment of Rs 830 crore to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary that will be engaged in the business of fabless semiconductor chip design and product ownership and not manufacturing, said L&T chief financial officer, R Shankar Raman.
Revenue came in at Rs 8,905.4 crore, up 8.2% year on year, which beat estimates. The company created from the merger of erstwhile Larsen and Toubro Infotech and Mindtree Technologies started operating as a merged entity in December 2022.
