San Francisco nightlife and entertainment venues that have been shuttered since the pandemic lockdown can finally apply for relief from the city’s Music and Entertainment Venue Recovery Fund starting Wednesday, April 21, through May 5.
San Francisco’s Office of Small Business plans to disburse the $3 million fund which came from the city’s surprise budget surplus equally among qualifying applicants, with each individual grant totaling at least $10,000. Venues can use the money for rent or mortgage, payroll, utilities, insurance and taxes.
