Jaylen Burns, an industrial technology student from the south suburbs, was killed Sunday at the Mississippi campus during homecoming weekend, officials said.

The 39-year-old woman allegedly entered a home where a party was ongoing in Pontiac and began stabbing people. The attack sent four people to the hospital with injuries to their chests and stomachs.
