To cornwall, setting up a new mission control. we basically have three different launch systems out there. we have our ground hardware, we have an entire aeroplane and a rocket, and so we have people that kind of specialise in each area of expertise here in the control room. so, they are kind of looking at the data, making sure everythings healthy. consistent checking throughout the day to make sure everything is going really well and then we kind ofjust take it from there. the final tests are u...

But, bianna, you know, president zelenskyy -- and im a huge supporter of the man and great supporter of ukraine, as you know, but his use of the term shield, missile shield yesterday, was really unfortunate. there is no country in the world that can provide a missile shield against incoming rounds like that, and its an understanding of how air defense works. they are static, they are stable, they are on a certain point of the battlefield and they protect specific systems. what you saw in the sho...

Region, jose. >> thank you so much. rick, so lets talk act what molly was referencing. u.s. and uk will provide advance missile launch systems. putin said hell react why what do you make of that? >> jose, you know you struck the target when they fire missiles back. that happened with vladimir putin. he has reservations at it. he doesnt want those long range anti-missile systems or missile systems. we have put a limit on the length of targeting with the missiles we send. i think 80 kilometers. we...

Shoot from long range. the united states have stood up -- its time for our nato friends, more of them to stand up and send more rocket -- multiple launch rockets and more advanced drones in so they can over-match that russian artillery. if we cant cut down the russian artillery, they will continue to destroy people and infrastructure, and they will not stop destroying with artillery until theres some capitulation from the ukrainians, and thats not going to happen. more people will die, more fran...

Yesterday was the closest it had come to our position. but the vast majority, the damage what i want to keep the focus on has been the outskirts of the city. the other line area of the city. and particularly, the civilian areas have come under russian attack. we saw, yesterday, shortly after i had left the city just because the security situation had deteriorated so much. my team felt that it wasnt safe. shortly after, there were attacks using multi launch systems that we saw hitting apartment c...

Remember in the enormous, line-up for miles and miles and miles and logistics tucked right in behind them, all the rest of that, seems a tiny bit more piecemeal than i would have thought so another question is, can russia take advantage of its air supremacy? not just air spooruperiority. can it integrate with air and fire? we saw impressive multiple launch systems going overhead. those are enormous, but again, theyre an area weapons system, as they say, not precise, its a blunt instrument. can t...

Including that it has used a cluster of your munitions in residential areas and it has used vacuum bombs, the thermo barrick munitions. what evidence is there, if any, at this stage, to support these claims. i have not seen evidence of those weapons yet but i wouldnt be surprised if they have. they brought in these rocket launch systems which saw the move into ukraine. it is not clear to me yet, but i would not be surprised in future their use. cluster munitions and multiple launch systems quite...

Attacking military. thats the thing that concerns me and its so important that some of these targets are destroyed. not so much the resupply but the actual launch systems themselves. if youve got a truckload of ammunition without a missile firer to shoot it, its no good to you. >> our eyes are on the ground and they are wide open as we wait for what may be an unfortunate next phase in all this. general hertling thank you so much for taking us through this. the breaking news as the battle conti...
