The number of San Diego students attending virtual schools has shot up in recent years, even as those schools perform significantly worse than in-person counterparts. 

Creating a mindfulness planetarium, building solar-powered, and launching an entrepreneur program are just a few of the school projects receiving funding from North Island Credit Union through its Fall 2023 Teacher Grant program.
