HILLSDALE - Hillsdale Community Schools, in conjunction with USDA s summer food service program, will provide breakfast and lunch, at no cost, to children intermittently at five locations through July.
Food service director Laura Call said meals are available for children up to age 18, or a person age 19 or older with a mental or physical disability (as determined by a state or local educational agency) and who participates during the school year in a public or private nonprofit school program established for the mentally or physically disabled.
Call said school officials believe it s important to continue the summer meals to help those who may still be dealing with issues caused by the pandemic.
