who is apparently in the road or trying to cross the road. so more information on this to come. but in the meantime we want to get our next big incident involve overturned dump truck out tampa area 50 street under selman expressway we have that overturned. we have debris in roadways you can see that blocking northbound lanes in also hindering folks from exiting the selman expressway at 50th. second of all we have we want to get, my apolo traffic jam on north bunked 75 in manatee at state road 64. where we have a vehicle that s on fire. so please avoid that area. now we want to get to this, a vehicle into a home out lakeland area. we have a live look from the ground here. and this is happening off the fitzgerald road. what we re hearing from the sheriff s office is that this is actually happening at orange valley. but that s off of fitzgerald. so shutting down fitzgerald east from ken suarez in just a few minutes in update from sheriff in polk county. just a little bit after
slammed into the guardrail. his body went flying and came to rest good 20 or 30 yards away. he was speeding at such a high velocity that motorcycle kept traveling onto the onramp. toward 275. at least another two, 300 yards. again, it looks like, from what i can tell right now, they are almost done providing the scene. typically when they remove the vehicle it is because they are for medical examiner to remove that body. you know, praying for him and his family as well. in terms of the traffic. you said it right. it is a traffic nightmare. especially when you re coming i-4, westbound. it is backed up for several miles. from what we understand. past selmon expressway. so if you typically take i-4 to downtown area. or westshore or tampa international. remember southbound 275 is closed off. so is the downtown exit east and west. they will remain closed for another half hour. possibly more than, that that s why we are seeing backups for miles. so again avoid this area. but you sa
good morning to you. we have some updates here to lane blockage along 275 and i-4. this is due to an earlier motorcycle involved crash that had all the drivers on i-4 westbound unable to get on to 275 south. forced to take detour northbound. what we are seeing even though we have big delays. drivers now from i-4 west can get to 275. so those lanes are open. just moments ago we saw, we had skyfox monitoring downtown exits. those are now open. so we are going some improvements to travel times. but it will take awhile. because road was shut down for hours. you can see this is earlier video of the area. and what we know is that it does involve a motorcyclist that apparently was involved in this wreck. slammed into the barrier and unfortunately passed away. we have the lanes open. this is earlier aerial video when downtown exit was closed. and 275 south was open. and delays are still bad. so drivers are still urged to either plan extra time or use some work around. i am going to j
