A judge was unable to find a Tweed woman genuinely remorseful for her role in detaining a Brisbane school teacher who died when hit by a truck soon after being released.
Lauren Grainger, 41, from Kin Kin in Queensland, had pleaded not guilty to the aggravated kidnapping of school teacher Anthony Stott on February 10, 2020.
Anthony Stott, 43, died in February 2020 after he was hit by a truck on the M1. He had allegedly been kidnapped and tied to a chair before his death at a farm in Tweed Valley, northern NSW.
