Budding photographers at Musselburgh Burgh Primary School have proved they have an eye for a good shot in a bid to raise funds for playground improvements. Pupils from 13 classes took part in a competition on the theme ‘Something That Makes You Smile’ during the Easter holidays to produce photos for a school calendar which will be sold in aid of the playground project. Avril Campbell, reporter for the Musselburgh Courier, had the tough task of choosing winners on an anonymous basis and the results were announced at school assembly last Friday. The overall winner was ‘Sunset In The Harbour’, by Romilly Upcraft, P4, which will appear on the front page of the Burgh Primary 2022 calendar.
