Penn Medicine and Virtua Health expect to open their new $45 million proton therapy center in Voorhees in early 2023. The treatment facility will be the first site in South Jersey to offer the promising cancer treatment. Jefferson Health plans to build a proton therapy cancer treatment center at its Torresdale campus in North Philadelphia.
