I went into the afternoon and into the night and into the next morning. When i got to the end, i did not stick my finger in the air and ask about politics. I did not hesitate. I read it. I knew what it said and i concluded, first, that this is a man who is broken the law, and you should be impeached. And i said so on that very day. [applause] i come to you at a moment of great crisis insa this country,a crisis at the time when americans working better and better and better for a thinner and thinner slice at the top, while it leaves everyone else behind. The central question of my life work has been, whats happening to working families in america . Why is the road getting so much rockier and so much steeper . And for families of color, even rockier and even steeper . And answer is, its no accident. Race lies right at the heart of this iss
