Police uncover narcotics in Lawton Village residence

LAWTON VILLAGE, Mich. â Police investigated sales of narcotics in Lawton Village this afternoon.
Officers secured the suspect, who was sitting in his vehicle, before entering his residence, according to the Van Buren County Sheriffâs Office. They say he had a number of warrants for methamphetamine delivery.
Weâre told detectives discovered large amounts of meth as well as paraphernalia when they searched the home. Police say a second subject was found at the home, but they do not believe he was involved in any criminal activity.
