Bengaluru: When India is battling the second wave of COVID-19 with multiple states going under lockdown, hundreds of people on Sunday violated COVID restrictions to attend the funeral of a horse belonging to a local religious organisation in Karnataka s Belagavi district.
As per the sources, scores of people walking shoulder-to-shoulder with many without face masks. The large gathering has forced district officials to temporarily seal the village and carry out tests to check for new cases.
