What? >> pumpkin pie layer cake. we start the pumpkin pie layer cake with pumpkin cake. we add a ton of pumpkin puree, thats the secret. a little spice and ginger and cinnamon. i stamp my cake rounds out and to minimize the amount of cake and we line it with a piece of plastic that they call acetate. it helps to build the cake. i put my two half circles down on my bottom layer. im soaking it with a mixture of milk and heavy cream. that is reminiscent of the flavors of the pumpkin pie filling and...
