New lighting schemes using solar and wind powered lanterns installed in Wrexham Two new lighting schemes using solar and wind powered lanterns have been installed in Wrexham. In a first of its kind for the county borough, the first project is along a cycle and footway in Penycae which had no lighting due to problems accessing the power supply in the area.
