There are five foundational principles or characteristics that leaders need to develop in their teams in order to achieve high performance, says Providence College School of Continuing Education faculty member Sarah Graumann who delved into each on GoLocal LIVE.
According to Graumann, who teaches Leading Teams, a foundational course in the school’s Leadership Development degree and certificate programs, they are trust, healthy conflict, commitment, accountability and results. So many of us are working remote at this time and the importance of knowing how to work as a team, how to build relationships quickly is really key at this time that’s part of what we do in the leadership development program, but especially in the Leading Teams program, said Graumann.
