that you know about when it comes to donald trump is how he likes to get to the bottom of leaks and one of the things that i noticed in this affidavit that was released yesterday, even with all of those redactions is that it mentions lots of witnesses who are integral to this investigation. i have to think that trump is, you know, going a little mad right now trying to figure out who these leakers are, who these witnesses might be. i completely agree with you. i ve said that definitely from the start. something i found interesting about the affidavit mentioning witnesses, before, you know, i thought it was one or two, and obviously two could be the witnesses. i thought it was just somebody close to him, which i still believe it is because of some of the details that the fbi and the doj had when they went to mar-a-lago. but now a concern i have is, you know, if there are more than one, if there are plural witnesses, he s got such a small group around him, i m wondering if he has taken
was revealed the president congratulated vladimir putin after his aide said do not congratulate in all caps and notes and that further led to a cut on the list. so basically what we found is from john bolton, the national security adviser, he was given specific instructions from the president to do even more than had been done previously, and to make sure as few people as possible were on calls, and got transcripts of the calls. and now, there s a big top line that says eyes only, no copies, on top of all of the calls that go to agencies and go to others in the white house, so they can t be disseminated any further. josh, the white house explanation for this, you hear, is that this was about preventing leaks. solely about preventing leaks. is that a substantive defense? well, the president is very focused on leaks. i think all presidents are, to some extent but this president, you know, really has homed in on that on a number of occasion, dozens of occasions, one, who the leakers a
we will find out who the leakers are. one official who isn t offering much information is sara sanders, who hasn t held a briefing in more than a month. the president says he is behind that decision, tweeting, the reason sarah sanders does not go to the podium much anymore is that the press covers her to rudely and inaccurately. in particular, certain members of the press. i told her not to bother. the word gets out. most will never cover us fairly. the last we checked, there has not been one held this year. is there any plans to start that back up again? sarah sanders back up at the podium? she s going to come back when she finds a reason to do that. so often, it s funny, because the media tell us that when sarah sanders stands behind me at this podium, why can t we hear from the president. reporter: there was not a briefing earlier today. the white house did lose a bargaining chip when the supreme court declined to get involved.
