Summerdale Library receives “Star Library Award” Posted

The Marjorie Younce Snook Public Library in Summerdale recently received a Star Libraries Award from the Library Journal Index of public library service. The award is sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA). The 2020 Index selects libraries from data based on per capita statistics including materials purchased, materials circulated and annual visits. The library has been named a Star Library for the past five years and was one of only six public libraries in the State of Alabama to receive the award this year.
