for almost 18 months, lecture halls have been empty as classes were moved online. now, finally, students say they are getting the real university experience. i think the online learning, - although, you know, everyone has tried their best, it is not the university life that everyone signed up for. so, to have everyone back| on campus is phenomenal. vaccination rates among young adults are still much lower than other groups, but some believe attitudes are changing. i think students and young people are starting to realise to go on holiday, to go nightclubbing, to go out basically enjoying themselves, they have to have vaccinations. so, as businesses start to open up and whatever else, they have realise, yeah, i need those black things to enjoy certain things going forwards. the university is now urging all its students to get a covid jab to protect themselves, their friends and their lecturers against the virus. stuart whincup, bbc look north, middlesbrough.
