The Easter Bunny will be making his rounds this weekend, and that means the opening of egg hunting season.
Across the region, egg hunts have been planned by a variety of organizations for area children.
In Lee County, however, Conservation Board staff have not forgotten the grownups.
They have hidden several eggs in the Lee County Conservation Board s main parks: Wilson Lake, Pollmiller, Chatfield, Denning, and the Heron Bend Conservation Area, naturalist Clay Steele announced Friday on Facebook. Almost all are plainly visible from areas people commonly visit or walk.
Inside each egg is a prize, which might be a free cabin rental, a free camping pass, or a packet of butterfly milkweed seeds.
