In an email to the Times-Standard, Chinn lauded Mossman as her longest supporter, helping her over the past 35 years with any number of goals oriented to help alleviate the difficult lives of Eureka’s homeless people.
"I have known her for about five years and have seen her relentless drive and commitment to better the lives of the less fortunate around her community," nominator Glenda Hesseltine said in her nomination letter. "Her passion is amazing."
