On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted the start of the Brisbane leg of the Legacy Centenary Torch Relay 2023, addressing guests at morning tea before beginning the flame’s journey as the first Torch Bearers. In the afternoon, at Brisbane City Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Civic Reception in honour of the Legacy Torch Relay and the Governor addressed guests.
