Pensacola National Naval Aviation Museum honors service members

Special to the News Journal View Comments PENSACOLA   The Naval Aviation Museum Foundation opened the Legacy Wall exhibit with a virtual dedication presentation at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The virtual introduction of the first seven service member plaques was marked with a message from retired Navy Rear Adm. Kyle Cozad, president and CEO of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. We call them service members, Cozad said. They re the men and women of America who answered the call to act in service of our great nation. We honor them and we honor their legacy of selflessness and personal commitment to freedom. The initial service members were selected from a number of stories submitted to the foundation in February. The stories recognized individual legacies of service and contributions to naval aviation.
