The town of Conway will hold its parade on Sunday, July 4, at 1:30 p.m. American Legion Posts 46 and 95 will participate in the parade. Due to the Main Street road construction project along Route 16 in Conway Village, the parade will follow a new route this year. May 17, 1921 The local post of the American Legion has received from the arsenal at Rock Island, Illinois, 10 .30 caliber regulation rifles for use in post ceremonial work. The rifles are to be kept in charge of Sgt. George Plett, who commands the firing squads in Legion ceremonies. The body of Sgt.
