Hofstra University has renamed its business school building, honoring its longtime trustee, Leo Guthart.
Opened in 2018, the building is now known as the Leo A. Guthart Hall for Innovation and Discovery at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.
Within the building is Hofstra’s Center for Entrepreneurship, which will become part of the university’s business school, and renamed the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
“Leo holds a very special place in the history of Hofstra University,” Hofstra President Stuart Rabinowitz, said in a statement.
